Today, it has been a long year without my son, but I find comfort in knowing that he still lives through others. I want to thank you for accepting his gift of life, and letting him live through you. He was a very special son, so pleasant, kind, and nice. He was always respectful. He loved wearing hats, and was handsome. He had a beautiful smile, and was a joy to be around. His favorite color was red. He played the saxophone. He completed his certification as an Orthodontist Assistant. He always spoke about himself in third person. He was polite and had good manners. He was so funny and fun. He was very smart, and had keen discernment. He was always happy, and never treated others badly. He was a youth deacon in our church, a pathfinder, and mentor for a non-profit organization. He wasn’t a perfect kid, but to me he was. He was everything and I not only loved him, I liked him as a person. I thought so highly of him. He was my joy and all my dreams was in him. We had a great relationship. He was a positive person. He was unbelievable. I always joked and told others if they needed a great son, I would xerox him. Oh how I miss him.
