Reed had a life long passion for organ donation and though his life on Earth tragically ended far too soon in the eyes of his loved ones, we find peace and comfort knowing that he gave the gift of life to others.

Patrick€œReed€ Ellis Jr. passed away May 29, 2015 at the age of 57. Reed will forever be remembered as a compassionate, caring individual and a loving husband, father and grandfather. Reed had an active lifestyle with many interests and hobbies. He enjoyed cycling, hiking, and travelling. He was a food and wine connoisseur and loved sharing that passion with others by entertaining. Reed was very involved with his church family and served on the Leadership Team at West Cobb and Covered Bridge Church. He had a huge heart for those in need and was passionate about animal welfare. He was so giving that he gave the ultimate gift of life through organ donation and saved the lives of three people. To Reed, everyone was€œbrother€ and he preferred hugs to handshakes. Above all else, Reed most enjoyed spending time with his family.
