Kyra Rose Colvin was born on March 7th 2008. She went home to heaven on June 4th 2018. She was an amazing, loving, caring, beautiful little girl. She was born with spina bifida, hydrocephalus, and a neurogenic bladder. She always beat the odds from the moment she was born. Always proving the doctors wrong when they said she wouldn’t/couldn’t do something. When she was 3 she was diagnosed with epilepsy and a mri showed her left frontal lobe in her brain was deformed. The neurologist told us she shouldn’t be able to talk or function normally.. she proved them wrong too. Kyra passed away from a uti that went septic and stopped her heart. After being on life support for 3 days she was declared brain dead. Kyra had such love for life in general. She never met a stranger and shared her dimpled smile with anyone she came across. A true social butterfly was Kyra. She loved with her whole heart! Some of the things she enjoyed was going on the boat and fishing with her daddy. Helping her mom cook in and the kitchen. Swimming and riding the horse at therapy. She loves cats, unicorn, and pink and purple we’re  “her colors”. I could write so much more but this is kind of an overview of my sweet doodlebug.
