James Lucas Quick, 59, passed away April 15, 2018. Jim was born in Niles Michigan to Floyd Quick and the late Patricia Quick. James lived in Minnesota during most school years. He graduated in Minnesota and traveled the US playing in professional foosball tournaments. He was an avid bowler and had 13 perfect games (300’s) during his bowling career. He worked part time in bowling alleys where he met his wife Debi. They married November 30, 1985 and were soulmates. Jim loved to gamble and won the Fantasy Five in 1991 which afforded him the purchase of Quick Auto Lab and Discount Clutch and Air. Later in life he worked at National Auto as a Service Writer and Manager. Jim enjoyed the beach, watching Tampa Bay sports and attending baseball and football games. He was a dedicated family man who enjoyed making others laugh with his corny jokes and sense of humor. One highlight for him was preforming stand up on Amateur night at the Comedy Club.
Besides his father he is survived by his loving wife, Debi Quick; children, Tricia Quick, Tina Caviness, and Anthony Caviness; stepmother, Becky Quick; siblings, Kathy, Tom, Patrick and Thais; grandchildren, Alaina and Audrey Caviness; brother-in-law, Donald Kalogerson and many nieces and nephews.
