"This dedication is for Donna Pallotta Lowe, a very special person with a beautiful heart whose memory will be cherished by all who knew her"
What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us. – Helen Keller
Donna Marie Pallotta Lowe passed away suddenly on 3/31/2014 from a massive cerebral hemmorage.. she was surrounded by her husband, parents and sister.
Donna was always a giver, with a kind heart and a generous spirit. She was a special person whose memory will be cherished by all who knew her. Her last unselfish act was to donate her organs saving 5 lives. We were so grateful to have had her with us. She will be sadly missed.
Donna was a devoted animal lover, a selfless protector and rescuer of all animals. She never turned her back on any living creature and their life was improved in some way by being touched by her. She spent many selfless hours on weekends and holidays tending to her beloved terminally ill cats at the animal shelter. She also spent many hours in the feral cat program (trap, neuter, return) in Ft. Myers, many times nursing the animals in her home until they were strong enough to be released (or not).
As her sister I feel grateful that she didn’t suffer. She died quickly and peacefully and we got to be with her and hold her. I feel grateful that she spent her last days with her beloved parents and husband, knowing she was loved and treasured. I am grateful that I was born with a sister like her who loved me with all her heart and would do anythng for me.. ANYTHING. There are SO many things that will remind me of Donna every day. I will never see a sunrise or the ocean, or walk through a forest or help an animal without feeling her spirit next to me.
We will be judged by how we treat the least among us…..
