I will never forget that call. It was on a Monday, the 5th of February. My eldest brother had suffered a brain aneurysm. But let me tell you about the best part of my brother. He was the leader of of family. Being the first born grandchild to the Davis legacy. Because he was named after our father, he was lovingly called Gerald, His middle name. He was so sweet and kind-hearted. He would do anything for everyone. He is survived by his Father Bobby Gerald Davis Sr, His Aunt Wanda Kay Davis Haya. He was predeceased by our Mother Barbara Jean Boyington-Davis, A step mother Helen Davis.. He had a gorgeous son ,his namesake and the 3rd to carry our fathers name who married Chelsea and gave him 3 beautiful grandchildren. Gabby, Jake, and Austin. He had 4 siblings. Rhonda, Tony, Vickie and Sandra.

He was An Uncle to over 26 nieces and nephews. and great-uncle to 30+ nieces & nephews. He was a good son, brother, father, grandfather and uncle. To know him, was to love him. And boy did he know how handsome he was..lol

He often joked about how sexy he was.. it was true, the ladies loved him. He had a smile, a mile wide.

To those who received his gift of life. We honor you for honoring him. We wouldn’t have expected anything less from Gerald but to be an organ donor.. You truly got a gift from him, not just your lives, but his spirit lives on within you. And for that, We thank you! We hope to meet his recipients one day.. Until then. Live your life to the fullest, because Gerald sure did..He is forever in our hearts and will be missed dearly <3
