Ben was a great man, a wonderful husband and father of our three children, Benjamin, Katherine and Roberta. He worked hard all his life to take care of those he loved. He was a bit of a jack of all trades but two jobs stood out the most for him. He spent many years as a volunteer firefighter in North Carolina and Wisconsin and his latest job was working for Walt Disney world where he loved spending time and working with his friends. He loved spending time with us and was planning on a big family vacation to visit family in other states but sadly he passed away the day after Christmas after having spent a beautiful Christmas holiday at home with us. He is survived by his wife Hilary Owens; his children Benjamin, Katherine and Roberta; his parents Bill and Sheila Halderman; his mother in law Katherine Bybee; his sister and brother in law Katherine and Thomas Chase; nephew Ryan Chase; and many Aunts, cousins and friends.
