"Alicia, your sweet smile and loving & caring nature made everyone's day. We miss you dearly!"

Alicia had a very infectious smile; her smile could brighten up anybodys day. It was an honor and treat to experience her smile and loving nature for the 5 1/2 years we were married. Alicia worked at Starbucks, she would come home just about every night telling me how much she loved her co-workers. It is nice to know that she was also loved at work; it is nice to know that she had such great friends to share the work-day with. Alicia also worked as an after-school mentor at Chestatee elementary. Alicia would always come home with pictures that her kids drew for her. She truly enjoyed mentoring her little ones and it is nice that they enjoyed having her as a mentor.

Alicia was preceded to Heaven by her maternal grandmother Mildred Horton and is survived by her husband Lucas Federico Torres; parents Olivia and Ramiro Velazquez; sister Ana Velazquez; brother Richard Velazquez and maternal grandfather Jack Horton.

Alicia is at peace in heaven beside her grandmother. I pray that Alicia and her grandmother look after us during our time on earth.
