"Alexander Jordan Cape was a very special young man and is a now a loving, vibrant, spirit. He taught us much."
Alex Cape had seizures from the time he was 6 months old until a seizure claimed his life at age 32. He was so strong to have endured so much. The doctors thought he had small seizure activity all the time; but it was the persistent gran mal seizures that would take him down to the ground. Alex always rebounded with love and affection for those around him. He was a joy! Alex tried many medications, diets, and therapies to combat his debilitating condition. Alas, nothing worked for very long. In donating Alex’s brain for research it is the family’s hope that an understanding and a cure for seizure disorders and epilepsy can be found.
But there is more that Alex had to give. His sparkling blue eyes, beautiful flawless white skin, sturdy bones, and his strong heart inside and out will undoubtedly live on.
