August is National Minority Donor Awareness Month and we’re determined to raise awareness about organ, eye and tissue donation in the CSRA, so join us at the Back to School Community and Wellness Day.
This event is not just about raising awareness—it’s a celebration! We’ve lined up a variety of fun activities, including a DJ, free ice cream from an ice cream truck, carnival snacks from a snack truck, face painting, balloons, and a limited supply of school supplies. In tribute to the organ donor who saved a local child’s life, Peanuts Reading Corner will also be providing brand-new Literacy Buddies from Build-A-Bear.
