TAMPA, Fla. – (June 19, 2015) – Thanks to the generosity of tissue donors and the LifeLink Tissue Bank, three children in Ecuador have restored mobility. In philanthropic partnership with Bayside Medical Missions, LifeLink Tissue Bank donated allograft chips that went to use in three different pediatric spinal surgeries at Ecuador’s Providence Hospital. Dr. James West, of Alabama-based The Orthopadic Group, P.C., was the lead orthopedic spine surgeon in all three procedures, which proved successful.
