The Art Of Donation LifeLink® of Florida to Host Its 2nd Annual Holiday Card Art Contest for High School Students

TAMPA, Fla. – (Aug. 28, 2015) – LifeLink® of Florida is excited to announce its 2nd Annual "Art of Donation" Holiday Card Design Contest for high school students. As part of the contest, students are asked to create original artwork that embodies the spirit of giving associated with the holiday season & with the Gift of Life through organ & tissue donation.

The "Art of Donation" contest is open to all high school students in LifeLink's 15-county federally designated service area in west/southwest Florida, including Hernando, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Manatee, Hardee, Sarasota, DeSoto, Charlotte, Highlands, Glades, Lee, Hendry and Martin counties. All counties referenced above are encouraged to participate! Winners will be awarded prizes, including an Apple iPad, iPod and a Kindle Fire, as well as gift cards. Teachers named on the entry forms of the winning student entries will also receive a $100 gift card. Artwork submissions will be judged by a panel of individuals who have been impacted by organ & tissue donation, LifeLink community partners and LifeLink executive staff. *The deadline to submit artwork is October 2, 2015.*

LifeLink of Florida is the non-profit, community service organization designated by the federal government to facilitate organ and tissue donation in west and southwest Florida.
