Love Give Live 5K Walk / Run to Support Local Organ Transplant Patients In Need

TAMPA, Fla. – (October 27, 2015) – LifeLink Legacy Fund® will host its inaugural “Love Give Live 5K Walk/Run” on Saturday, November 7th at LifeLink Foundation’s headquarters office in the Brandon area. This family-oriented race is being held to promote the lifesaving message of organ and tissue donation, while raising funds for both the LifeLink Legacy Fund, to provide financial assistance to local organ transplant patients in need, and Donate Life Florida, to further statewide donation education efforts for Florida’s organ, eye and tissue donor registry. This event is being sponsored by several community partner organizations, including SunTrust Bank and Grow Financial Credit Union.

LifeLink Foundation’s address is 9661 Delaney Creek Boulevard, Tampa, 33619, conveniently located directly off the Leroy Selmon Crosstown Expressway. Onsite registration begins at 7AM with race promptly starting at 8AM. Race registration fees are $30 for adults and $20 for children; registration can be completed in advance or day of race. Team registration and fundraising are encouraged, so individuals should feel free to further promote race participation with their friends, family and/or co-workers. All participants will receive a goodie bag, including a complimentary dry-fit t-shirt and race medal. In addition to an awards ceremony following, there will also be an onsite raffle with great prizes, including Apple TV’s, an Apple iPad mini 3, a Windows Smartphone and much more.
