Lillie Bradley

Hello to February and a new face in the LifeLink® Faces of Transplantation Project. Meet Lillie Bradley.

Lillie Bradley battled high blood pressure, a leading cause of kidney disease, for years. She maintained an active lifestyle, but her condition worsened, and Lillie’s kidneys failed, requiring dialysis so that machines could do what Lillie’s kidneys could not. For four years, Lillie navigated the challenges of dialysis, but her vibrant spirit never wavered. Lillie refused to let her condition slow her down and drew strength from her strong community support network. In 2002, Lillie received the life-changing gift of a kidney transplant.

Thanks to her donor hero’s selflessness, Lillie no longer requires dialysis and has become even more engaged in her community. A natural people person, Lillie dedicates her time to volunteer work with her church, local community organizations, and LifeLink of Georgia, with whom she shares her transplant story to inspire others to register as organ, eye, and tissue donors and save lives.

When asked how she feels towards her donor hero, Lillie says, “I’m thankful and grateful to receive the gift of life.”

Through organ, eye and tissue donation, your story continues. Register your decision today!
